About Us

Based in New Hampshire, Oak & Anvil was started by David Harvey. Dave comes from a long line of artists and craftsmen. Surrounded by a family of painters, sculptors, and wood workers, Dave found his creative outlet by making things with his hands. While working in the construction industry for most of his life, Dave would spend his free time in his home shop making unique every day carry items for himself and his friends. Eventually Dave created Oak & Anvil to start selling his work. His main focus is on quality, craftsmanship, and the use of materials you would find in the 19th century not the 21st. In a world made of rubber and plastic, Oak & Anvil focuses on providing durable items made of wood, leather, and metal. We hope our products inspire people to get outside, explore, and make lasting memories.
